This last one week has been revolutionary... well, in the fashion world at least. From the 21st - 27th of September, 2016, renowned designers hit the runway with bespoke haute couture at the Milan fashion week. Every designer was there; Gucci, Prada, Versace, Giorgio Ammani, Max Mara, Dolce & Gabbana.... the list is endless. And all the clothes were astounding too. I particularly loved the fabric, colour, and styles by Fendi and Prada!
Prada's pieces were from the future, literally. It showcased spring and summer styles for 2017. This wasn't the only trend breaking thing about Prada this year, Miuccia Prada collaborating with director David .O. Russell (Director of the film American hustle... great movie!) announcing a special multi media installation (to be out at the end of October, 2016) was another. This film installation was captioned in the fascinating, au courant, and unprecedented black and white clip sneak preview before it's collection debut.
I found this collection very contemporary, fresh, and inspiring; the feathery shoes, the bejeweled sandals, the skorts come back, the textures, the prints, the colours, the everything was just heavenly!. For me, this wasn't inspiration for just fashion alone, it was motivation to go back to my drawing table and think outside the box. It made me embrace the positive vibe of the possibility of doing something that hasn't been done before... The birth of a fresh journey for me.

Did I forget to mention that I totally loved Fendi's collection too? Of course, I did mention that! Lol. I think I was a little biased with this one, maybe it's because my two most favourite models in the world were also in it!... Bella and Gigi Hadid.
Watching Bella open Fendi's collection was an exciting and emotional moment for me, especially after I read, her older sister, Gigi's post on Instagram... "I had to hold back tears of pride and joy watching my beautiful lil sister open the @Fendi show today!!!!!..."
Everything in this fashion show seemed to feel like that moment when you are determined to outdo yourself... and you succeed. All the effort and hard work paid off very nicely indeed. The Bible verse holds sway here, "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he". Simply put: You can achieve what it is you put your mind to. Your life is a product of your thoughts.

I hope this post inspires you to dream beyond your limits, to set and achieve goals beyond what you have ever imagined... I hope it drives you in the path of discovery and rediscovery as it did for me.
Thank you for reading through, and do have an inspired weekend ahead lovelies.
