LATE SUMMER POST:: MINI DRESS & LACE-UP SUEDE SANDALS.

CHIFFON A-LINE DRESS @ JCPENNY|LACE-UP SANDALS @ MACYS| BLACK WRISTLET @ VICTORIA SECRET| Hey there lovelies, I know summer is about over, but I wouldn't have done justice to the season if I don't say a lot about this fashionable piece... Lol.
I absolutely adore this dress. The length and the fact that it's texture is soft, light and breezy makes it perfect for summer. I have come to discover, working a bit as a personal stylist, that the A- Line dress really does flatter a wide range of body structures... I hardly ever go wrong in it! and maybe you wont either.
This dress has soft features that I'm particularly fond of... the gentle pleats around the neckline which adds an effortless sophistication, in a rather unassuming fashion. The outward hem trimmings which elongates the dress in a flirty way, and the delicate lace details at the back of the dress that adds the right amount of mystery.
I accessorized with brown and black hues to compliment the dress. I must say I loved how that turned out! Second confession; I'm heads over heels with this shoes... everything is put together so perfectly. The lace, the loops, the colour, and the semi- gladiator style combining to make it look fragile, feel soft, and yet be so strong.
And for the wristlet, it's a new- in at Victoria Secret. It does come in a set of three in different of sizes, but unfortunately I only see the tiny size online. I did leave the link all the same, in case you are interested.
A quick story: So, today I decided to do a "DIY" in photography. I picked up the manual for my camera (first time I'm actually reading it since I got my camera almost a year ago! I know, I know... I'm guilty as charged. Lol) & I discovered it has a self timer (a 10 sec maximum though... but I was still excited, regardless). In the spirit of the mood, I was determined to take my blog pictures myself, so I would set the timer, then run to take position, and strike a pose... all in 10 seconds!
It was really hilarious, and I captured myself laughing most of the time, so I had to keep retaking them. I'm so sure I took a million pictures all together! Although I was very enthusiatic, I got very tired from all the running around, Lol. And I have some good pictures to my credit to show for it! Lol...
