I do love long dresses, and this summer I'm drawn to not just flowing ones but also those with effortless sophistication. The flowery print and vibrant colours on the soft print gives this dress that fascinating look of the ancient Japanese couture. Fashion does evolve.

I must confess, I have always been intrigued by the Kimono, being a bespoke dress and of rich Japanese cultural heritage. I felt the urge to do justice to this piece by pairing it with bold and bright accessories. I feel it symbolizes that the Japanese culture has become a strong, bold and bright one in the fashion industry as well.

This dress would be perfect for summer weekends and vacation getaways. I would absolutely use this for all kinds of summer events from cookouts to date nights... Everything!
