A COLOURFUL GETAWAY

DRESS @ MACYS| I.N.C SHOES @ MACYS| BLACK BAG @ EXPRESS| ACCESSORIES @ OLD NAVY AND NY&CO| "Hmmmm" is the only word that escaped my lips as I took all of it in; the gentle flow of the water, the reflection of the sun kissing it's surface, and the soothing breeze caressing my skin. I just stood there, breathless, staring, so lost in the ambiance... I was in my own world.

Suddenly, I heard the ruckus, the high pitched laughters mingled with the scents of affluence. His yacht had arrived. From across the rails, I could see his face as he stepped on board. Like he knew he was being watched, he turned around, he's picture hadn't done him justice- He looked 10 years younger in those fitted Levi jeans and Calvin Klein ivory white masculine shirt. He stared at me intensely, he's deep blue eyes beckoning, I felt my heart skip a beat. I looked away quickly.

No jasmyn, you know the rules, I reprimanded myself... you never fall in love with the mark.

Ok, that movie should be titled "Gray fall"! Did I forget to mention that I was writer in my former life? Lol. Well thats exactly what my day at the National Habor felt like today... Like a scene in a romantic espionage movie.

Enough with my movie script, already! Lol. So, Spring break is here! Hurray!!!. I had fun at the National Habor. Incase you haven't been, you might want to visit sometime. I'm sure you would find it refreshing and so worth your while.

I opted for this really lovely dress, It's one of the new spring collection now out at Macys. I love the bold and soft colour mixed patterns, it gives the dress a sweet, playful and sophisticated style. I like the feel of the fabric, it's very light and breezy just like spring! I also think the neckline, cute pleating and belt detail in the front of the dress, really worked it from ordinary to simply amazing.

I'm wearing it today with comfy black heels and a matching bag. I didn't want more colours so i stuck with black, and yes, it ended up adding some more elegance to the outfit.
