RED VELVET, BLACK SUEDE, AND NUDE CLUTCH

It's valentine season, and what better time to have fun with all shades of red, than now! Today, I'm experimenting with colours and textures from different brand names.

I got this lovely Calvin Klein Pleated Scuba A-Line dress at Macys', and I'm paring it with a Jessica Simpson's black suede strappy heel, I also got at Macys. I'm really not a fan of suedes and velvet but I must confess, giving it a try, was so worth it! I love the feel of the dress, the texture makes it a little stiff, and less flowy. The texture achieves for me, that miniature version of an old british royal ball dress elegance. Perfect for the Vweekend and beyond!

And the shoes, stepped in right on cue, bringing along the bold sophistication statement that harmonized the rhythm of the dress with effortless grace. I particularly love the straps of this shoes.

Still in the spirit of style discovery, I went for a nude clutch to balance out the intense colours of the outfit. I liked it, I think it worked out really well. I bought this at Express, just incase you might want to check it out.
