DAILY BEAUTY REGIME FEATURING SHISEIDO

Hello everyone.

I got this promo pack at Macys' during the last black friday sales. It was going for a give away price of $130 or thereabout, now that is the regular price for just the moisturizer on any other day! See why I'm so excited about the price?

This pack came with the moisturizer, and four cute bottles of other things I had never used before. I got to try them out and can't wait to share the experience with you in a moment, but before then, a little chit chat on beauty regime and the magic of moisturizing.

I did a little research on moisturizing and it's importance can't be overemphasied. I'm a loyalist; I religiously invest in good moisturizers, which are a staple in my daily beauty regime. It's actually a beauty secret I live and swear by.

A big reason why it's a yes for moisturizers, is that most of them contain skin- identical ingredients, sunscreen, Vitamins A, C, E and plant extracts like grape seed, green tea, aloe, ingredients that would help our skin act better and be protected against undesirable enviromental elements. These important components help keep our skin fresh, young, complement our diet and repair it as well.

So, in this pack I got (from left to right in the picture):

#1. Extra creamy cleansing foam- It really felt smooth, and left my skin clean and silky.

#2. Balancing Softner Enriched- This has wrinkle resistance. I didnt really mind because I read somewhere that when you get to the age of 25, you should start using anti wrinkle no matter how mild. Your skin would thank you for it, when you get older!

It feels really good, my skin is alot softer now, and has a more balanced texture.

#3. Corrective serum- I really feel serums are too concentrated, and I try to avoid them. But they are great for the skin, so I prefer investing in serums with very light texture and I use them only at night before going to bed. This serum, I must say does have the perfect texture for me, I sometimes go ahead and use it during the day because it feels just right.

#4. Power infusing concentrate- It feels very good, my skin feels instantly rejuvenated whenever I use this but I think it's for more matured women. Now, I haven't done any research on that, and it may not be so, I don't even know where I got that from, it must be the name or something. Lol.

I love the mild feel alot and I use it as often as possible.

#5. My good ol' moisturizer!

These are all that came in the pack, but the good thing is, you can get them separately. If your working on a budget, like I'm, you can decide which one would be most essential for you and invest in just that, or if you are not too sure which would be best for your skin, try out afew and stick to which works best for you.

THE BEAUTY REGIME

With this new pack, I inculcate all the items in my beauty routine;

~First I wipe my face with a facial cleasing wipe. I use neutrogena deep clean

~ Wash my face with dove moisturising bar soap.

~ Lather up and use the extra creamy cleansing foam

~Pat dry with a towel, using a cotton ball, I apply the balancing softner.

~ Dab a little eye cream under my eyes.

~ Apply a little of the serum & concentrate

~ Generously rub in the moisturizer.

And I'm done!
